Sometime last September (2017) I was looking at my clothes hanging up and realized how much of my wardrobe revolves around the color blue. Not an incredibly astute observation given how long it took to have that realization, but nonetheless I thought it might be funny to write a song where someone starts wearing blue just because they were dumped. There's a lot of wordplay in this one, and it's pretty much a straight up honky-tonk so there's a lot about it for people to hate but I love it.

Maybe a splash of orange to match the sunshine in my mind
